 SRH vs RCB Match Highlight

Due to the outstanding bowling performance of their bowlers, Royal Challengers Bangalore overcame Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs on Thursday night, following Rajat Patidar's explosive fifty and Virat Kohli's reserved half-century. In IPL 2024, Hyderabad has won its previous four games in a row before suffering its first loss. RCB scored 206 runs for seven wickets after losing the toss. Sunrisers Hyderabad, in response, lost eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs and could manage only 171 runs as they continued to endure repeated setbacks. The Royal Challengers Bangalore have maintained their hopes of making the playoffs with their second victory in nine games. Hyderabad's number six, Shahbaz Ahmed, achieved the maximum score of 40 runs in 37 balls.

Will Jacks, a part-time off-spinner, was the first bowler used by RCB, taking into account the efficiency of the spinners in the first innings. The Englishman gave RCB a huge boost when he captured the devastating Travis Head (1 off 3) at third man.
Abhishek Sharma, Head's opening partner (31 off 13), did amuse the home audience until wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik intercepted his attempted slog.
Making his RCB debut, left-arm spinner Swapnil Singh removed the dangerous South Africa combination of Aiden Markram and Henrich Klaasen twice in his opening over. SRH were reduced to 56 for four in five overs as Klaasen was caught at mid-on after mistiming a lofted drive, while Markram was declared leg before wicket after missing a full delivery.

Rajat Patidar was the hero of victory

Virat Kohli and Faf Du Plessis (25 runs from 12 balls) swiftly accumulated runs by batting aggressively against the Hyderabad team's bowlers. Pat Cummins, the captain of Sunrisers Hyderabad, handed up 19 runs in his opening over as a result. In the first eighteen balls, RCB had amassed 43 runs without losing a wicket. After the first wicket went in the fourth over, Rajat Patidar entered the field and amassed a scorching 50 runs in 20 balls.
