TATA IPL Auction 2023 : Sam Curran has become the most expensive player in IPL history. In the IPL mini auction held on Friday, Punjab Kings bought Sam Curran for 18.5 crores.

England all-rounder Sam Curran became the most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) auction when he was bought by Punjab Kings for Rs.18.5 crore. Australian all-rounder Cameron Green was bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs.17.5 crore in the IPL. He became the second most expensive player in the history of this league. England Test captain and fourth all-rounder Ben Stokes has been roped in by Chennai Super Kings for Rs.16.25 crore. Chennai and Kolkata Knight Riders bid for Stokes for a long time but the final bet went to the team led by Mahendra Singh Dhoni. IPL England's players were threatened in this short auction.
